The Gatehouses
Castle in the Clouds has had two identical gatehouses since the 1920s, and they are both still standing.
The “Entrance Gate” in the 1920s, when the property was known as Ossipee Mt. Park. The gate is now known as Brook Lodge, and is located at the Castle in the Clouds’ main entrance gate on Route 171.

The “Exit Gate” in the 1920s, now known as Maple Lodge. This lodge sits at the top of Ossipee Park Road, off to the left-hand side as you’re ascending. This building is in the final stages of renovation and will soon become archive and education space.
