Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce

Sadly, after a century of existence, there is no longer a Laconia chamber. In 2008, the Laconia chamber lost focus, becoming the Lakes Region Chamber, and in March, 2026, even moved out of town, to 322 West Main Street in downtown Tilton. The former Chamber offices on South Main Street in Laconia (before March 2026).

The Summer Information Booth on Weirs Boulevard. The booth was a branch office of the Laconia chamber for about 30 years. The booth was removed in 2019. The reason for the removal? Tourists now get their information digitally, and the booth was difficult to staff.
