Public Docks 1950s

One of the main differences between the docks back in the 1950s and the docks today is the railing that separates the main dock from the inner lagoon. Today’s docks do not have that railing. The inner lagoon is now too shallow to dock boats.

Notice all the boats out in the bay in this photo. This photo was taken during the Boat-O-Rama festival.
