Wake the Lake, a weekend-long block party on Lakeside Avenue in Weirs Beach, takes place between Tower Street and Foster Avenue, during the weekend before Memorial Day weekend. Musical entertainment is featured on 3 stages. Festivities begin at 5pm on Friday, continue on Saturday from noon until 11pm, and resume on Sunday from noon until 5pm. In addition to the music, various games such as Beer Pong and Corn Hole are offered, and food and drink is served from multiple bars and kitchens.

The first annual event occurred May 10-12, 2019. The 2020 event was cancelled due to Covid. The subsequent events have taken place as follows: 2nd annual, May 21-23, 2021. 3rd annual, May 20-22, 2022. 4th annual, May 19-21, 2023. 5th annual, May 17-19, 2024. 6th annual, May 16-18, 2025.

The 7th annual should take place May 15-17, 2026, when and if it is officially confirmed.
