October 23-24, 2026: The Laconia Pumpkin Festival. The 2026 event will be the 2nd annual, although it will actually be the eleventh consecutive pumpkin festival held in downtown Laconia.

After 24 years in Keene, the New Hampshire Pumpkin Festival moved to Laconia in 2015. Run by the local Chamber of Commerce for its first 9 years, the 2025 event was the first to be run by the City of Laconia, coincident with a name change, from the New Hampshire Pumpkin Festival to the Laconia Pumpkin Festival. The new festival logo, released to the public on April 22, 2025, depicted a pumpkin wearing a witch’s hat, with the Laconia Public Library in the background.
