The first Biketemberfest, a weekend-long block party on Lakeside Avenue in Weirs Beach, took place the second weekend of September in 2018. The event took place between Tower Street and Foster Avenue, and was named as a variant of the famous Daytona Beach “Biketoberfest”. Musical entertainment began at 5pm on Friday, continued on Saturday from noon-11pm, and resumed on Sunday, from noon-5pm. In addition to the music, various contests were held. Below are photos from the first-ever Biketemberfest. The event has been held continuously since then, with the exception of the 2020 event, which was cancelled due to COVID. The most recent event, the sixth annual, took place September 13-15, 2024.
