The first Biketemberfest, a weekend-long block party on Lakeside Avenue in Weirs Beach, took place the second weekend of September in 2018. The event took place between Tower Street and Foster Avenue, and was named as a variant of the famous Daytona Beach “Biketoberfest”. The event has been held continuously since then, with the exception of the 2020 event, which was cancelled due to COVID. This year’s event, the seventh annual, will take place September 12-14, 2025.

The event schedule has varied little over the years. Musical entertainment begins at 5pm on Friday, continues on Saturday from noon-11pm, and resumes on Sunday, from noon-5pm. In addition to the music, various contests are held.
