HISTORY OF EATING PLACES

New Hotel Weirs Ice Cream Parlor, 1923. Click here for another postcard of the Ice Cream Parlor and the interesting words written on the back.

The New Hotel Weirs dining room. Click here to see several more pictures of the dining room/banquet hall of the New Hotel Weirs and an 1896 menu.

The little diner in the lower right corner of this 1934 black & white photo shows the location where the Weathervane is located today. The original owner, Joe Seymour, had moved the diner from Lakeport Square to Weirs Beach in 1931. To the far right is the Lakeside House. Click here for 1904 and 1900 Lakeside House menus.
