Beach Rules

Official Information

Parking costs $2.50 an hour for cars or motorcycles. Buses, RV’s, and Trailers are not allowed.

Beach hours are from 7am until midnight.

Bathhouse hours are from 8am until 7pm, weather permitting, from the last week of June through Labor Day.

Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult.

Canoes, kayaks, and stand up paddle boards may be launched to the far left of the swim area. They must not enter the swim area.

The following are prohibited:

• Life Jackets and PFDs (Personal Flotation Devices)
• Floats, Masks, Fins, Snorkels
• Alcoholic Beverages
• Glass Containers
• Smoking
• Loud Music
• Pets are not allowed on the beach (sand or water) area. They are allowed in the picnic (grassy) area only, provided they are leashed, and the owner removes any feces.
• No cooking with heating sources (grills – gas or charcoal, smokers, etc.) except by written permission.

Please obey the Lifeguards and Park Personnel. They have the right to remove offenders.

RESIDENT & TAXPAYER ONLY beach passes may be obtained from the City Clerks office. The cost is $15 for one pass and $25 for two. Two is the limit per household. The pass allows you to park at the Weirs Beach parking lot for free, provided there is space available.
