The Endicott House Restaurant

The following postcard of the Endicott House Restaurant dates from the 1950s. The restaurant was named after the Endicott House hotel, which sat further up the hill on the same lot of land. Around 1980, the lot was transformed into the Weirs Beach Waterslide. In 2017, the lot became the Boardwalk Bar & Grill.

The caption on the postcard reads, “ENDICOTT HOUSE RESTAURANT Situated at the Weirs Beach on Route #3 Laconia, New Hampshire Enjoy the finest of foods in the cool, comfortable, air-conditioned atmosphere of New England’s most famous restaurant overlooking beautiful lake Winnipesaukee, at the Weirs. Reservations not necessary Your host, Edward Spadafora ENDICOTT 6-4684”
