Dear Arcade Game Collector: If you are a home arcade enthusiast and collector, please read on. You might be searching for a particular Arcade Game, which we might be able to supply you with. We are an amusement arcade operator located in Weirs Beach, New Hampshire, currently celebrating our FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY year. We have quite a large collection of old Arcade Games in storage, which are now available for your inspection here on this web page at: http://www.weirsbeach.com/halfmoon/arcades/gamesforsale.html. We will continuously add to this collection as new games are added to our arcade, and old games are retired to make room for the new. We suggest you bookmark this web page, and check it monthly during the upcoming season, from April through October. If you would like to make an offer for any of our games, please e-mail us (PLEASE, don't call us) at: gamesforsale@weirsbeach.com Before making your offer, please read the FAQ and TERMS in the frame on the left carefully. Remember, there is no guarantee that the game will be working when we get it out of storage. Therefore, please make your bid on the assumption that it will NOT be working (even though it might be.) As we don't allow bidders to personally preview the condition of a game before placing their bid, please make your bid on the assumption that the game is in AVERAGE physical condition - neither pristine, nor abused. In your e-mail, please leave your telephone number and the best time to reach you. We will confirm your bid by e-mail. You can check the status of your bid on the web page, which will be updated daily. We plan to close this FIRST TIME EVER INTERNET AUCTION of used games at the Half Moon Amusement Arcades sometime between the middle and the end of April. This will give you approximately two weeks to a month's notice before having to pick up your games. Otherwise, you'll not be able to pick them up until the end of August. One week before the closing date of the bidding, we'll notify you by e-mail of the exact time and date this FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY sale will be ending . We will then e-mail you after the bidding is over with the final results of the auction. At that time we can also make arrangements for pickup if you are the winning bidder. You may inspect the game upon your arrival. This would include the cabinet, the glass, the playing field, and the controls. You may open the cabinet, and verify the completeness of all the interior parts, and the presence or absence of any manuals. Should you not be satisfied with the physical condition of the game, you may withdraw your bid prior to purchase. Testing the game's working condition is not allowed. If a game isn't working, it could be for any number of reasons, ranging from the simple to the complex. As we wll not provide technical support on any of the games we sell, you should have the capability and the resources to fix and maintain the game yourself. We reserve the right, at the end of the auction, to not accept any bid that is lower than the average bid for a game in the same category. Games are organized by category in the frame on the left. Games that receive a lower-than-average bid will be reviewed on an individual, game-by-game basis. Should we decide not to accept the bid, the game will be available for sale again at the next auction. Our next auction probably will begin sometime in August. Thank you very much for your bids. Good luck. Sincerely, |
