RICKY AND THE GIANTS
Ricky and the Giants play classic rock that's great to listen to, and for dancing. The band plays a wide range of songs from the '60s to today's hottest rock 'n' roll. From Steely Dan and Bad Company to Lynard Skkynard, from Elvis Costello to J.Geils, Little Richard, and the Allman Brothers, to name but a few, this is one band that knows how to play. They even play some Mark Knoffler licks-good stuff!!

The group features David Luke (second from left in picture) on lead and rhythm guitar and lead vocals. A talented vocalist, Luke does fantastic covers of songs by Little Feat, and also does an impressive job with Van Morrison tunes. The rest of the band is really tight, with really good vocals and magical lead breaks on keys and two expert guitars. They really play up a storm!

On the origin of the bands' name: RICKY is "the one freeloading, slave driving, omnipresent, invisible, cheap, useless, saxophone holding, gerbil loving cretin" while the bands' name derives from the fact that "every time they played out they were growin', they made some more friends and they got bigger and bigger—why, they had become a band of epic proportions…truly, a band of GIANTS!"
